Terms of Service

Last updated: July 6, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Pitch, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

Pitch is a private marketplace connecting music supervisors with artists and rights holders for sync licensing opportunities. Supervisors post anonymous briefs. Submitters pitch songs. Pitch facilitates the introduction, but is not a party to any licensing agreement negotiated between users.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Submissions and Payments

Submitters receive three free pitches upon signup. Additional pitches require payment per our pricing page. All payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. Paid submissions do not guarantee placement, selection, licensing, feedback, or direct communication with the brief creator.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all music and content you upload. By submitting music, you grant Pitch a limited license to host and transmit that content solely for the purpose of operating the platform. You represent that you have the rights to submit the content and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights.

6. Anonymity and Shortlisting

Supervisor identities and project details remain anonymous until a supervisor explicitly shortlists a submission and chooses to open a direct communication channel. Pitch does not guarantee anonymity beyond the platform's technical controls.

7. Prohibited Conduct

  • Uploading content you do not own or have rights to.
  • Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users.
  • Attempting to circumvent platform security or anonymity controls.
  • Using the platform for any unlawful purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

Pitch is provided "as is." We are not liable for disputes between users, failed deals, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to Pitch in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notice.
